Discussed previously. See the list (provided via this succinctly phrased note) by jdporter) in the course of reminding those who suggest new sections to see prior discussions, and, in the same thread, his explanation of the underlying rationale -- that, with some exceptions, sections are for (1) Asking questions; (2) Musing/RFCing/thinking out loud; and (3) Monk-created code with some 'cool' or novel features or approach.

    Sorry, I did search but it was inadequate. After a better search, I did see some support for the idea: almost five years have passed since the last discussion, maybe it's time to revisit the issue since Perl 6 may be launched by Christmas this year.

      Perl 6 questions can be posted in Seekers of Perl Wisdom, just like questions about previous versions of Perl.

        ...and this is how I personally hope it remains going forward, with questions about both languages in the same section.
