I just realised that it's 13(*) years to the day since I posted this. We all start somewhere. I've been here almost every day since.

*13. Is this the year it all goes wrong?

    In the last 13 years you became one of the pillars of the monastery, an omega(*) one. Many are gone while you grow up.
    It is incredible to see how much road you have done from your first post till now (especially if i look to mine!).
    You are not a pleaser because you always say what you think, despite others.
    Your Perl (math,thread..) fu is devastating, but you are always humble when asking for new ideas or perspective.
    You spawn working code at the rate i write in my native language. So..
    use Monks; use Monks::Date; $happy = Monks::Date->new ( 1433404111 - 410227200 ); $BrowserUk = Monks->new(id=>'171588',birth=>$happy); $to_you = \$BrowserUk; $happy->MonkDay($to_you); $happy->MonkDay($to_you); $happy->MonkDay($BrowserUk); $happy->MonkDay($to_you); END{require Cake; $cake_with_candles = Cake->new; $BrowserUk->blow($ca +ke_with_candles)}

    UPDATE:(*)omega is used in the sense of someone specular to the alpha in a society. I probably misused the term (if you read this seems like an insult): i was thinking something like a wizard as the balance of a king in a society. So my creative english lead me to the 'omega pillar' statement.

    Heh, heh. So I was better at Perl than you for almost two years. :P How time flies!

    BrowserUk,
    Happy Monk Day! It is quite an accomplishment - not just how far you have come (I was honestly surprised when I followed your link) but also for having the perseverance to stick around this long. Thank you for all you have contributed.

    Cheers - L~R
