This was meant to codify policy, not change it.

This was meant to codify policy, not change it.

However, the root node does suggest changes in policy. "Any violation of this policy will result in a suspension of your voting privileges" is not what is stated in All your Votebots are belong to us or History now influences voting.

It might be easiest to simply reference the three "References" in the root node, perhaps with a summay of each?

The problem we have to work with is that the Elder Gods didn't write down what their criteria were for specific actions; we only know from the Historical Documents that they took certain actions in certain cases. I personally would, if anything, be less heavy-handed than they appear to have been. So to the extent that they were operating by some sort of unwritten "policy", this attempts to correct that.

The problem with codifying every detail is that offenders than tend to walk the line and force lengthy discussions and try to shout things like "police state" or worse.

That's why admins tend to leave the border area grey and leave it to a mix of

        • common sense
        • godly (sic) decisions

        Cheers Rolf
