in thread what are the rules regarding homenode image, what is inappropriate?

... :P

I've seen you put forth the argument that we should strive to remain professional ... SFW if you will ...

I figured might as well link the image that inspired the quest for guidance

Yes. I strive to be friendly and professional here. It’s 1/2 of why I contribute with a pseudonym. I have lived in other countries and adopted the national customs even when they disagree with my tendencies. I was told in Korea that I was “more Korean” than some Koreans. If I lived in Dubai or UAE or SA or wherever, I would adopt the same stance. Anyway, while I find cartoons such as referenced entirely acceptable, because I’m not a tyrant and don’t put my conclusions/morals on others, I don’t find the cartoons in good taste. I personally don’t find any religion but that of William Blake (ENTIRELY personal) reasonable. The Flying Spaghetti Monster is exactly as reasonable as Christ, Mohammed, the prophets, and the Buddha. Religions for which people die and kill, are in the poorest taste of all. I’d take Shinto, Sikhism, or The Friends over any of the big three + the other big one.
