in thread what are the rules regarding homenode image, what is inappropriate?

.... I suppose that the only way to test the appropriateness is to post the image and see who salutes. Or throws tomatoes.

I'm looking for guidance/documentation from the decision makers, from gods or SiteDocClan

A reason for discouraging inappropriate user images is avoiding legal jeopardy. At least in the U.S., being explicit about what is allowed or not allowed can be a way to increase legal jeopardy. If I were a policy maker, I would duck this question.
