I am not familiar with the terms "cloaked" and "decloaked". 1. How do I detect if I am "cloaked"? 2. If I find that I am "cloaked", how do I "decloak"? "It's not how hard you work, it's how much you get done."	[reply]

Cloaking is a term for being logged in incognito. I.e. your name doesn't show up in other users. IIRC it was meant to protect monks from getting problems when being active during work hours. (And other privacy concerns) Your name (= link to homenode) on the top right will be preceded by a `#` and the `[talk]` button in the CB will be renamed `[decloak]` The easiest way to stop this is to log in normally. For details see Logging on to PerlMonks Anyway, if you don't know cloaking it's highly unlikely that you are cloaked. You are correct. I always login normally, so cloaking is not an issue in this case. My search continues for why this has happened. "It's not how hard you work, it's how much you get done."	[reply]
