in reply to Re^3: pack() returns an unusable string
in thread pack() returns an unusable string

In blead, it runs with D< and fails with
Can't find string terminator "'" anywhere before EOF at -e line 1.

However, when I tried to output

say join ', ', map ord, split //, $p;
I got
0, 152, 153, 153, 153, 153, 153, 153, 0, 64, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0

map{substr$_->[0],$_->[1]||0,1}[\*||{},3],[[]],[ref qr-1,-,-1],[{}],[sub{}^*ARGV,3]
