many people felt betrayed By whom? I don't know (or, at least, don't recall) a lot of the details from that time, but it seems like maybe this was really a failure of management. Larry is a brilliant guy, but maybe, in retrospect, his decision to let Perl 6 be "the community's rewrite" didn't work out so well.
I reckon we are the only monastery ever to have a dungeon stuffed with 16,000 zombies.
