Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi Monks,

I have two postgres linux envs,

  1. one with server_enconding sql_ascii
  2. other with server encoding utf8.
Filename name having international chars are getting attached properly in first env but failing it in second env.

What could be possible reason and how it can be solved.
