It's up to you, I'm only trying to help.

I can only tell, that I find remembering words like "Kavorka" and "Zydeco" hard, probably because of the distant cultural references and missing mnemonics. (I know the words "mojo" and "delicious" and can recombine them.)

I once gave a talk about sub signatures (I think it was in Amsterdam) and did intensive search for dozens of related modules and was very surprised when I was asked about Kavorka.

I had to ask multiple times how it's pronounced and spelled.

The names are unique and original, I have to admit! :)

    I have thought for a while of bundling Z.pm, z.pm, Zy.pm, or zy.pm (haven't decided which) as a quick alias, mostly for one-liners.

    not unless you are a latvian orthodox nun. Admittedly, woody allen omitted very little from his magnum opus "all you wanted to know about ...". Seinfeld, a fellow Brooklynite, was quick enough to spot the missing entries and fill the gaps. A P.S. for the prudish monk: garlick cures it. I vote perl7 be named Kavorka. I wouldn't mind put that in my CV. "I have worked with Kavorka." Or "I have worked in a Kavorka environment", "I have been playing with Kavorka", "I have been developing with Kavorka all my life", "I am an avid Kavorka user but apparently nobody appreciates my skills", "I can work remotely with Kavorka" or ... "I am the product of Kavorka. Nobody wants to use me.". I also have a sneak suspicion that Acrobat was intented as an anagram for Kavorka. And see how that ruled the world. Anyway, back to the garlick bath.

    Edit: to clear misunderstanding, I love the name. Also Zydeco. I first heard that music in the soundtrack of "Southern Comfort" film and loved it.

    bw, bliako

      That's totally wrong.

      Latvians used to be protestant (before Stalin) ... ;P

      PS: I'll start naming modules after Polish Sci Fi characters and Arabian politicians.

      PPS: ... and lingerie brands.

      "Victoria::Secret has a Saddam.pm dependency when subclassing Pilot::Pirx"

        "Latvians" includes a lot of people. Plus the latvian nun was with the Latvian Orthodox church in Brooklyn at the time of her experience with Kavorka.
