in thread UP-TO-DATE Comparison of CGI Alternatives

This may just be me LARPing Proverbs 26:11 but since a recent linkback took me here and your comment got a couple upvotes and COVID-19 boredom is settling down deep–

  • The cheese sandwich bit… Installation speed is a nonsense argument so earned a similar absurdity.
    • I take issue with the implication that I asserted grilled cheese is better than a cheese sandwich.
  • I had already responded that Mojolicious is literally impossible to install on some systems so the difficulty of installation is infinite–
    • Perl 5.8 still exists in the wild. I don’t like it. We don’t all get to choose the gardens we’re paid to tend.
  • *fewer, fewer dependencies.
  • If you read what I wrote—at basically any time previous to this thread too—you’d at least suspect that I dislike Dancer on its own merits while I think Mojo is the junction of the hymenoptera’s femur and tibia. My complaint was, and is, against those who cleave to the rejection of dependencies as a matter of dogma.
  • Not in this lifetime.
