People want free, functional, fun code that's easy to implement. This is why Matt's was so successful. Perlmonks shuttered every section that encourages mass creativity: code catacombs, craft, snippets... down the memory hole. Cool uses indeed. Wake up and smell the code. Answer less stupid questions, and write more fun code. Give it all away. Build it and they will come. Don't be safe: be bold, be dangerous, be free. Simply kick ass. I accept your nomination for the President of the Free Repubic of Perl.
