A reply to a reply not shown in RAT (solved)

on Feb 11, 2020 at 08:53 UTC ( [id://11112764]=monkdiscuss: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

In RAT, I can see Re^18: Making Perl Monks a better place for newbies (and others), but if I click on it, it has a reply: Re^19: Making Perl Monks a better place for newbies (and others). The reply is not displayed in RAT, though, even if I reload the page.

+/-Making Perl Monks a better place for newbies (and others) (A:6/178/ +2) [ELISHEVA] +/-Re^18: Making Perl Monks a better place for newbies (and others) +(P:1) [PerlGuy(Tom)]

Update: My bad. Clicking on the + makes the post appear. Sorry for the confusion.

I've found that the "Showing nodes created ... to a maximum depth of ..." at the bottom of RAT (which I have set to 0) once in a while will reset itself, I assume because the cookie expires at some point (haven't checked in detail yet since it's so rare).

This behavior also depends on the Current View Mode , you might want to experiment.

    update

for those wondering, it's on top of the RAT page

'Current View Mode' is 'Root and Node' , switch to 'Minimal Nodes' , 'Node Ancestors' or 'Full Thread'

    Couldn't find a help page, though ... :/

    Cheers Rolf
