I warmly second stevieb's > There are other Internet communities besides Perlmonks? ;) Perlmonks is really my only netplace and I never found something even similar. But to be honest sometime in the past I also lurked a bit in the perl channels on irc (general, win32 and toolchain ones). There are very smart people but is more difficult to be accepted at least at first. Well this was my sensation. StackOverflow is read-only for me: it happens that I find useful stuff there. Nothing more. No place as perlmonks!
