That quote seems to me to exemplify the context I mentioned: that they don't want to be included in a Perl-focused site unless it's made clear that Raku's not Perl. I don't think you can interpret that small quote as seeking inclusion.

I never claimed that, it was a counterpoint to your post.

That's news to me (although as always, I'm open to being proven wrong). Are you sure that your apparent hatred of Perl 6 isn't affecting your interpretations?

Sigh. I've been following the Rakudists' debate for months. I'm not sure what your agenda is either in flogging the dead horse of "Raku is Perl" or in repeating old, irrelevant and untrue accusations about me (with links!) That post has 30 upvotes fyi. And your command of English is quite excellent enough to see that I made no mention there of hatred, simply asked the Rakudists to stand on their own two feet. Which they are now doing. You are trying to paint me with a broad and inaccurate brush. Why?
Are you sure your advocacy of Raku isn't misplaced and outside of what the Rakudists themselves are seeking?
Update: also just fyi I'm not interested in verbal jousting or circular wordplay masquerading as sophomoric "debate":
why would we think that even they would welcome such a mention here?
See the text I quoted.

As I said, sigh ...
