FWIW, this has the longest question at 120 characters, a record previously held by If I was forced to program in another language, the Perl language feature I would miss most would be: way back on on Oct 17, 2006 with its mere 101 characters. Though, in Dec of 2008, You find that you are the only one left in your department on the week between the Holidays. Do you: came close at 100 characters.

The shortest polls are I prefer, Votebots, and Life is: all ranking it at 8 characters, closely followed by On sushi:, My age is, I work..., and I blog... all at 9 characters.

The (averaged) average length is 37 characters, the length of 11 polls. The median is 32, the length of 13 polls. Grouping polls by length shows the largest group at 16 polls, with a length of 24.

Do you have statistics about the number of possible answers?

Please explain what you mean, especially by the word possible.

I meant the average number of answers available to select, not the number of different answers given as a reply.

... but if you also have the later, better!
