Everybody was Obfuscating

(Sung to "Kung-Fu Fighting", by Carl Douglas)

Everybody was obfuscating
Those monks were data hiding
In fact it was a little bit frightning
But they coded with expert timing

They were funky Perl monks from funky Perlmonks org
They were chomping $_ up, and they were abusing
sort
It's an ancient Monastery art and everybody knew their part
From a
map into a chop, and grepping from a pop

There was funky MeowChow, chipmunk and japhy
They said here comes Erudil, let's get JAPHing
We took a bow and made a stand, started typing with the hand
All the line noise made me trip, now we're into a brand new script

Everybody was obfuscating
Those monks were data hiding
In fact it was a little bit frightning
But they coded with expert timing

(repeat)...make sure you have expert timing
obfuscating, had to be data hiding.
