Do you count binary clocks under digital clocks (I do not). I have seen analog versions (using colored light) of binary clocks. I have also seen clocks that used the colors as used in resistor bands as digits.

update 2014-10-20: this is a clock that writes the time on a small whiteboard, erases the time and writes again (repeat). I'd say it is digital too :)

The Wikipedia article says "Most binary clocks are digital, although analog varieties exist", (and a look through Google images seems to confirm this) whereas my intent was simply to measure the preference for digital vs analog (irrespective of format).

In that respect: many analog clocks are digital too nowadays :)

Hmm. I recall seeing a watch which simply had a rotating dial, rotating once a day, half dark blue and half yellow, with only half of the dial visible at any time. Interesting, but I never could figure out what time it was telling.
