If you didn't mean to insult me, or at least if you wish to retract the insult, please feel free to say so and ignore the following. Thanks.

An obvious follow up is: can Jenda? (Another is, can carlosdelrey?)

Sounds like we need a "doing" challenge. Perhaps some programming problems that you, me, and carlosdelrey are to solve. I'm a slow programmer and I only programmed full time from 85 to 87 (using BCPL and 8086 assembler) so you should presumably both put me to shame.

Anyhow, I suggest the monastery collectively picks several (4?) very different problems and we see what happens. When would be a good time for you and carlos? I'm thinking a start date in September would be reasonable.

I've got actual work to do. Using languages that actually exist. Using languages that do not try to be everything for everyone. Using languages that are not the next Ada ... without the backing of DoD. Using languages that did not start as the next version of a popular language due in a few years only to change what worked and suffer a feature creep what leaves Netscape Communicator rot in envy and never ship in fourteen years, hurting said language.
