Just as a check: Did you include the following in your .bashrc?(assuming bash of course...) source ~/perl5/perlbrew/etc/bashrc I had forgotten to do so on one of my laptops(Ubuntu 14.04) and experienced something similar to what you describe..until I fixed my .bashrc, that is. Hope that helps... ...the majority is always wrong, and always the last to know about it... Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results...
