Now each of you can go to your user edit page and add information or a node in progress to your user scratch pad. You can choose whether you want this item to be publicly viewable. If you want a user to be able to preview a post, start writing it, set your scratch pad to being publicly viewable and then send them to the scratch pad viewer to check out your work in progress.

An added feature for all of you link harvesters is the ability to click on "add to scratchpad" in your personal nodelet. When you do this a link to the current node will be concatenated to the end of your scratch pad or placed right before any <INSERTHERE> tags you may have added in your scratch pad.

Have fun...

Maybe there can be a linking convention for the scratchpad as well. something like  [view://damian1301]. This would be much easier than going to scratch pad viewer everytime.

$_.=($=+(6<<1));print(chr(my$a=$_));$^H=$_+$_;$_=$^H; print chr($_-39); # Easy but its ok.
I agree with the suggestion, but until it gets implimented, you can create links to a specific user's scratchpad like so:
      <A HREF="/index.pl?node_id=108949&user=damian1301">damian1301's scratc +hpad</A>
      damian1301's scratchpad

Note that there is currently no way (that I've found) to view your own scratchpad (not view the source for it in the update window, but to actually view how it looks such that you can click on the links you've put into it, etc.) without making your scratchpad public.

You should be able to view your own scratch pad at the scratchpad viewer even if you haven't marked it as public now.
