when I do it that way this is the error message I get: Proxy type 1 MozRepl::RemoteObject: NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED: Component returned failure code: 0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED) nsIPrefBranch.setIntPref at ./Proxy_settings_vs_1_5.pl line 31.
