On viscosity: I was thinking of adding “thick” and “thin” as options, but those would be sort of orthogonal to the other options.

thick and thin would at least be less verbose than my suggestion... :-)

I think orthogonal is fine. It forces a kind of prioritization when one has only one vote.

I once left a can of tomato sauce in the refrigerator and...well, suffice it to say i'd rather it was red.

Just saw Re^2: poll ideas quest. Not the same thing, but worthy of note. On second thought, maybe it isn't. :)
