So what OS are you going to run? Android? WinCE? WinRT? Symbian?

    Good question, but not one that I can answer at this stage.

    I won't have much influence in the choice; though I'm pretty sure that "win" won't appear in the name.

    I'd expect it to be RTOS or QNX or similar, though I guess android is a possibility.
