You should ditch Exporter/Autoloader :)

Also, How does Encode::JP::Emoji/http://code.google.com/p/emoji4unicode/ fit into your project?

    On the first point, agreed.

    The link you refer to is a different thing; I'm using emojis in the other sense (similar to emoticons such as ";)" or ":-)" instead you use words such as ":angry:", ":kiss:", and ":wink:".)
