in reply to [Slightly OT?]: p5p, perlbug and rt.perl.org

When I log in here with my Bitcard account ...

You can also log in with your PAUSE account username and password, can't you ?
At least, I've always been able to log in to rt using my PAUSE username and password, and have consequently not concerned myself with setting up a bitcard account.

Mind you, I'm not suggesting that you necessarily *ought* to use your PAUSE account to log in to rt ... merely wondering whether using the PAUSE account provides the mileage you seek.

Cheers,
Rob

    Rob, thanks for your reply.

When I visit http://rt.perl.org I don't see an option to log in with anything other than Bitcard:

    Have a Bitcard account?

Log in with it now or get a Bitcard account."

    There's also a note saying:

"We have switched to using Bitcard directly for authentication."

When I visit http://rt.perl.org I don't see an option to log in with anything other than Bitcard

      Duh !! ... my mistake ... it's rt.cpan.org that offers the option.

      Cheers,
      Rob
