The "No such file or directory" shouldn't be there. Well, the "No such file or directory" was only there, because you told bangor to do $PATH, as a result of which the shell tried to run a program named "/Users/user/perl5/perlbrew/bin:/Users/user/perl5/perlbrew/perls/perl-5.14.1/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11/bin", which of course doesn't exist ;) A more direct way to find out the contents of PATH would've been to run echo $PATH
