As MinGW is not really a Perl package but a compiler you might want to try to install it manually from http://www.mingw.org/

      thank you.. playing with that link solves the problem for me.. after removing the repos and adding them again he was able to fetch all data..! wiked ;)

    thats not (really) the question :) the question is -why- ppm is not able to fetch the repo ^^
