If you're going to use C::Scan, it's worth noting that there are some shortcomings in the current released version. Doug McEachern, author of mod_perl is using C::Scan to parse Apache header files in mod_perl 2.0, and has fixed some of those issues and made them available from his homepage.
So, if you're going to use C::Scan, you might want to download Doug's patch.
