today I'm really irritated by the quality of the questions posted.
eh.. I turn a blind eye to such things. Life's too short to get annoyed at mosquitoes.
Not quite an apples to apples comparison but the phrase the comes to mind is abbreviated "RDWHAHB" which expands to "Relax, Don't Worry, Have A Home Brew."

Don't understand me wrong. I'm not annoyed. I was just amused because one Anonymous Monk replyed always with the same kind of phrase. And everyone can be sure: I have my own bad days and I'm aware of this fact.
IMHO you don't have to underestimate one phenomena: Writing down a question helps to structure what you're thinking about. And as soon as you hit the send button you often get the solution on your own. So, asking helps anyway (in most cases).

Ups!
Is it really for sure that all these modules have a hash order bug? I didn't expect that.
Once we had a similar problem @work. One of the SQL gurus thought that using group by forces an order by which is not guaranteed. It was funny as soon as the database spat out the results in any order.
Best wishes

The solution: Don't read Perlmonks on Mondays! :)
Seriously, no one is forcing you to read these posts. I usually glance at the title and sometimes do nothing more than that. Other times I feel I have a little more patience and read a few nodes.
Hey, they can't all be winners.

Probably "their (anonymous) boss" is the class instructor, and it's coming up on final exams.

Sometimes is dificult to provide a gold answer starting from a poor coal-question... less good questions, more lazy answers... less questions, etc
What I want to say is that, even if the question was poor, you could start an interesting discussion IF the OP want to talk about the question instead to ask for a quick cure. Bad questions come with bad feedback

I never quibble about the “quality of” questions posted ... because, to every person who did so, that question is very real. Lord knows I have felt that sweat under my collar enough times to know what it feels like. I do try to point people toward sources of information in the spirit of “teach a man to fish.” I am happy to help and have devoted hundreds of hours to thousands of posts. For better or for whatever. YMMV.™
