sman has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi all,

I want to send email in my Catalyst app and there are many ways to do it. I want to compare the difference between these two and figure out which one should I use.
Catalyst::Plugin::Email Mail::Mailer
Any comment will be appreciated.

    You might get some help from the monks if you at least specify some criteria for comparison. Otherwise, these modules do exactly what their documentation states they do. "horses for courses" as they say.

    I believe your plan to compare the differences between these two modules, and other email-sending modules, is a good one.

    Once you've done that you will be in a position to pick one.

    Seriously there is no right answer. Pick one that has good documentation, if you run into troubles either ask specific questions here, or try the next module.
