There were at least 11 Monks in attendance that I knew and/or could find, and we got together and took some pictures!

Although I'm not really a video person, I do appreciate having everything streamed like that, so thanks Corion! I'll probably take the time to check some of them out later.

What I really like are the photos you've posted. It was really nice seeing the faces of the collaborators of assistance and kindness here on Perlmonks.

Thanks a lot haukex, and hopefully one day, I'll be able to meet up at such an event.

I would definitely encourage every Perl programmer to come to a Perl Conference! :-) Next year, YAPC::EU will be in Amsterdam in August. As I wrote in A Few Impressions from Amsterdam, it really was a lot of fun, and one of the things I like about Perl conferences is that they really are open to everyone. (And I'm sure people would be interested in your work on the RPi!)

Yeah, I really enjoyed meeting you all in person!

Written communication is just too anonymous...

Re: PerlCon 2019 in Riga live streams (separate talk videos now also online)

The good folks from the EPO have now cut up the video streams and made the talks available separately. The talks are available on Youtube now.
