<p>Just some side notes:</p>
<ul>
<li>Trace levels 1 and 2 are reserved for the [metamod://DBI] itself</li>
<li>The [metamod://DBI] itself only features levels 1..15, but the underlying DBD might support up to whatever they like. I think I saw one that took all over 100 to be special, but my recollection might be troubled.</li>
<li>Some DBD's support additional trace flags<br />
<ul>
<li>[metamod://DBD::Unify] supports <c>dbd_verbose</c> (alias <c>uni_verbose</c>) 0..8</li>
<li>[metamod://DBD::Oracle] supports <c>ora_verbose</c> (range not specified)</li>
<li>[metamod://DBD::Pg] supports <c>dbd_verbose</c> passing the value to [metamod://DBI]</li>
<li>[metamod://DBD::CSV] documents support for <c>dbd_verbose</c> in the TODO list</li>
<li>[metamod://DBD::Sybase], [metamod://DBD::DBM], [metamod://DBD::Firebird], [metamod://DBD::SQLite], [metamod://DBD::MariaDB], and [metamod://DBD::mysql] have neither</li>
<li>[metamod://DBD::ODBC] supports <c>odbc_trace</c> (true or false)
</ul>
(all that from the documentation, they might have undocumented debugging flags)
</li>
<li>Not all of the trace messages come from DBI itself, so check the DBD you use if they have additional documentation</li>
</ul>
