The following quote sums this up for me:
There are (at least) two distinct rights being enshrined in law.
- Opt-in rather than opt-out permission by members to web-site owners before thay can disseminate any personal information to third parties.
This barely applies to PM.
- The right to be forgotton.
For example. Facebook would have to remove your home page and all associated pages, pictures and information upon request.
This almost certainly does apply to PM.
Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error.
"Science is about questioning the status quo. Questioning authority".
In the absence of evidence, opinion is indistinguishable from prejudice.
