SSH with passwordless keys is one of the most annoying things I've ever dealt with. I came across many web pages that had very specific instructions on how to set the key files up on both the client and server side. Each time, I would follow the directions to a T, and it still wouldn't work. Until I found: OpenSSH1,OpenSSH2 and ssh.com Public Key Authentication on Linux.
