In no particular order: The ICA was an interesting and relaxing venue, in which the geeks didn't appear out of the ordinary. The scheduling was sometimes out of control - changes were made at short notice and not always communicated to everyone. The majority of the talks I attended were professionally delivered, relevant, and interesting. (or if none of the previous then just fun) The people attending were relaxed, friendly, and all seemed to have a good time. In summary an excellent first effort - I hope that the organisers pass on their experiences to next year's team.

YAPC::Europe was a real success. Lots of talks about all kinds of different uses of Perl. Although the talks certainly were of different quality, most of them were really worth attending!

Besides that it was really good and fun to meet all people you only know from mailinglists, module-docs and e-mails, both drunk and sober ;-)

I agree, I really enjoyed the talks i managed to see, i'm also looking forward to seeing proposals for next years YAPC::Europe (hint, hint)
I think that proposal will be issued long before a certain person can buy me a lunch ;-)
