Another thing I've noticed that can screw up logins is when the system clock gets set to something really strange (something on my system periodically sets my clock to the year 2020, which kills my cookies)

The perm cookie is set to expire in 2010. I don't know much about cookies, but I imagine if your system clock were only sent to 2009, your login would be unaffected.	[reply]
