I tried the updated code, but I still get the same result. Did you test the code with QUOTE as the current word and EMOTE as the guess? Don't you see the 1st "E" as yellow?

Nope, the problem remains (I entered "sinus" as a guess, and the two "s" are yellow, though there's only one "s" in the word to guess, i.e. "paste"). I think you must have a counter for each letter, to only "lit up" only the right number, starting with the "green" ones.	[reply]
