    Yes. But on a very beefy Linux computer with lots and lots of memory.

      ok, I accept your answer and I do beleive you.
      it could be that you were using firefox.

      my PC has 32Gb of memory, but probably Chrome had a limitation for a single page so it refused to load large JSON into its page.
      it could be that this could be configured, but obviously this is not the way to go in my particular case :)
