zentara, I am a little mystified by your question. Given your (mostly :)) lucid posts, you have missed the clear syllogistic conclusion:
  1. Albert Einstein clearly explained time, via special relativity.
  2. As Benjamin Franklin said "Time is Money"
  3. 1 Tim 6:10 clearly states that "The love of money is the root of all evil"(actually, the greek can actually be read "...the root of all sorts of evil")
  4. Therefore, "Einstein is the root of all evil" QED (you can get him off the hook a little bit by using the latter tranlation of 1 Tim 6:10)

Your apparent lapse in logical capability can easily be attributed to the facts that

  1. You are certainly an example of the population the poll describes
  2. You have actually read too many of the "How can I do <blah<blah> with an RE?

I'm glad you have it figured out. :-) But I must say none of of the references you cite mean anything to me....Einstein is obsolete, Franklin was a Devil worshipper, I don't give a hoot about the modern bible. My apparent lapse in logical capability can be attributed to my non-logical abilities while in a theta wave state........ i.e. zen :-)

Not to pick nits (well, OK, let the nit-picking begin)
      1. Special relativity is not obsolete, given the body of work SR experimental basis subject. There is far more experimental evidence for it, than against it. Those crackpots arguing against it are probably basing their arguments on some aspect of Samsara :)
      2. Being a devil-worshipper (and I dispute that claim, unless you are saying all Quakers are such) does not necessarily obviate the truth of statements made
      3. I was not referring to the modern Bible, unless you consider pre-4th century manuscipts as 'modern'

Well Special relativity is not obsolete, in the same sense that Newtonian Mechanics is not obsolete.... but neither one of them tells me what time actually is, they only allow making measurements. I can claim that time is the number of breathes you have left, and after that time ceases to exist for you.

Devil worshipping has nothing to do with it, just as Franklin's stupid sayings have nothing to do with it.

I don't care which bible you want to quote, it has nothing to do with reality, so why do you invoke it's (or Franklin's) sayings as some sort of "standard of truth"?

Breathe slowly Illuminatus , your perceived basis for truth based on logical reasoning(and brainwashing in the school system) is deceiving you....the truth is not logical.

Ben Franklin was not a Quaker. http://www.adherents.com/people/pf/Benjamin_Franklin.html may not be authoritative, but being a well-read Friend, I am sure Franklin was not one. He is not claimed as one and Friends had the habit of meticulous record keeping.

There are few Quakers who are household names in American history. The foremost would be William Penn, Rufus Jones, Herbert Hoover, and Richard Nixon.

It is not Friends' practice to devil worship, but mistakes happen. I'll appreciate it, if you won't incite the persecutions to begin again. :-)

        Be well,

I hope you code better than you do logical proofs...
    1. That Einstein explained time does not make him "time" itself.
    2. I will accept the equivalency though it is unproven.
    3. That "love of money" is the root of something does not make money itself the root of something.

    4. If a = b and d (being "the love of b") is the root of c, that does not in any way show a relationship between e (the person who describes a) and d.
