After a typically silly [morning|afternoon|evening] in the ChatterBox, in which it was discovered that someone had given himself a stylish hat in his homenode pic, I am proud to announce that 3rd - 10th July is Officially* PerlMonks Silly Hat Week^TM!

The concept it simple, those wishing to take part edit their homenode pictures to include a silly hat of whatever variety they choose into the photo and upload it for the duration of the week. Consider it a dress-down-Thursday for Perlmonks but with Silly Hats^TM and for a whole week!

Yes, any form of headgear is acceptable. As long as it doesn't break any of the other rules of homenode pics you can wear what you want (but please wear pants, you know who you are!)

Well, Perlmonks Silly Hat Week^TM Kind of implies this silliness lasts for a week, but I guess you could keep your hat on as long as you want.

No, unless you want to provide them and judge yourself.
