RolandGunslinger has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Curious if any perlmonks have successfully built Parrot on WinXP. I found this
very useful website
since I didn't have gcc on WinXP I decided to download MinGW32, which unfortunately the version I grabbed apparently didn't come with a linker. I modified the configure.pl script and got gcc to compile and produce the object file, but still haven't found a win32 linker that will work. What tools did those of you who got Parrot to compile on WinXP use? Thanks.

They seem to have a binary (untested) at the

Parrot On Win32 website. (Found by Google search for "Parrot Win32 binary").

Thanks very much indeed NetWallah. I was having alot of trouble building it using CygWin as well. I downloaded this, had to grab one more dll and boom! it's working. Now I can start to play around. :=) Thanks alot!
