Just to start things off then:
Overall organization - are all the divisions of the site clear and useful?
Searching - how hard is it to find what you are looking for?
General Interaction - how do you like the entering of text, code, links, etc.?
Chatterbox - what other commands would be useful?
Documentation - is everything about the site sufficiently well explained?
I'm probably forgetting a number of things, but these were on the top

I think Albannach has a great list here. I would simply add:
Flow - how easy it is to navigate, get to the next logical place.
Moderation - does the current system work well enough to keep this place cool
Customizations - does the current level suit everyone?

There is clearly a lot good about the site. However there
is always room for improvement. Here is a short list of
specific items:
- It appears that quotes can cause titles to be cut off.
I would double-check why that is happening. That kind of
thing sets a flag off in my head for improperly validated
database input which makes me wonder if there is actually
a security issue.
- Take another look at Why I like functional programming. I would personally
find some of the features in that code quite nice to have.
(Even if you don't borrow the code itself.)
- Site-specific documentation and tutorials are
weaknesses. Take a look at a wiki or two for ideas on how
to have communally edited documents which many people can
contribute to. Put up that infrastructure and see if we
don't get better tutorials from the community over time.
- Node histories are a pet peeve of mine. Nice to have.

Seems better to me to have asections "Suggestions" to keep track of different fields to be improved, so we don't repeat and repat and don't make it messier :-)
So it's just like spiltting it up to pieces and on the other hand seems to be needed a system of how a suggestion should look alike, I mean something like the order and methodolgy of a module review for example.
But my name has still it's meaning, so don't feel opposed :-)

Since the vroom seems to be asking for general categories rather than specific suggestions, I'd add the following:
1: Signal to Noise Ratio (I personally think we do pretty well here)
2: Section Relevance - Ability of the specific sections to adequately cover all possible (or desireable) topics.
3: Infrastructure (both structural and cultural) - is perlmonks prepared to deal with an influx of new users that it's success will bring? They must be assimilated...resistance is futile.
It might also be interesting to include something like "What is your favorite/least favorite thing about perlmonks? (Choose only one!)
On a side note, I think that one of the best things about perlmonks is the way that vroom runs the place...or doesn't at the situation dictates. This call for feedback is just another indication of that. While some similar sites have the feel of a monarchy (even if it's often a benevolent one), you really get the sense of community and of meritocracy here at perlmonks. The best ideas...and the best code... usually win out. In this, I think, the culture of perlmonks reflects the culture of Perl, but also the character of it's founders.

Well, I have no real opinions myself but this is what I suggest.
I think, that in order for perlmonks.org to get better, you must first advertise. We can start this by maybe creating a "Links" sections where you can trade links. I know this maybe sound like a childish and stupid idea, but I know that if you had some sort of smaller banner, I would sure as heck put it on my page. Thus, from this, we have more "heads" (if you will) to suggest opinions and express ideas for the good (or the bad), and for the advertisement of perlmonks.org. I also think that in relationship to the advertisement thing that each member with a website, personal page, or otherwise should be required or influenced to put their link on their page.

First, you aren't even close to being most hated. (:
Second, with respect, I think the last thing the site needs is presure to grow faster. It is still doing pretty good at dealing with its accelerating growth. But the one thing that could kill it or seriously wound it (as far as quality is concerned) is a huge jump in growth rate.

Well, in the aspect that there will be overposting. But, I have noticed that the Q&A section has been dry lately. I think that the site should direct more problems there and the should automatically delete everything(and members that havent logged in) over 3 months of age. Other than that I see no problem in grasping new members.
