Sometimes I wonder whether running these `obfuscations' won't erase all my files or something. I hope the approval process is accurate enough and takes care of malicious scripts, in this section or any other section.

"approval"? There is no "approval process"! You can write anything you want in perlmonks. As for "erasing all your files", well, most of the point of obfuscations is to try to de-obfuscate them by hand, then trying with B::Deparse, and only after that, if you still aren't sure of some fine point, running them.
