the Perl.it team of mongers is proud to announce the availability, on the above-linked website, of the whole Perl functions documentation (perlfunc.pod) translated in italian.
We have implemented a per-category browse and a search system, so that Italian Perl geeks can now lookup the documentation in their native language.

The site also offers the translation of the Perl FAQ documents (perlfaq*.pod) that comes with Perl. All the work is being carried on via a SourceForge project named Pod2it, where you can browse other translated documents too.
We plan to release soon the translated documents on CPAN in the form of a POD2::IT distribution.
