Homenode image rules

(from "Edit your user information")

"We will take away this privilege if what you post is copyrighted or obscene."

This could be slightly better worded: rather than "is copyrighted or obscene", it might be better to use "violates copyright or is obscene", as it does not take into account images copyrightly owned by the user in question...

No, though I am a pedant at times. :-) If I were a lawyer, I would have said something like "violates [location of server] copyright law" to take care of out-of-state or out-of-country users, or something like that, except that I don't know exactly how that would work...	[reply]
